1. Right around the time I gave them that funny little exchange in my Stacey story, but you really just hammered it home in "a thousand times" because that is exactly how I see them and their relationship turning out - friendship right on the verge of something more, but no one ever taking the chance to do something about it. 2. A combination of Lucy's temper and Ellis' own demons coming back to haunt him. His past is more messed up than anyone might guess, and I would think that a part of him is afraid that if he did get involved with Lucy, that it would hurt her in some way. 3. Ellis gets Lucy in a way that Y doesn't. They both try to get Lucy to stop her destructive behavior, but while Y gets frustrated with her and doesn't understand why she does stupid things in the first place, Ellis is a little more easygoing about it and far more willing to listen. 4. I highly doubt Ellis will ever let Lucy know how he feels, because he's her boss and he doesn't want to "sink to Michaud's level", as it were. It's like Chick and Michaud, but sadder...and with considerably less creepy/hot sexytimes and power-struggles. 5. Sometimes I just want to shake Ellis and tell him, "You like her, you idiot, and she likes you! Go! Go do something about it!" 6. Ellis: Michaud or maybe Liz. Lucy: Y, Joe, or Stacey. 7. The club burns down - faulty electrical wiring, or something to that effect; nothing that anyone could have prevented - and Michaud gives Ellis a choice: they can start over, or they can go their separate ways. Ellis picks the second option, and he leaves Chicago with Lucy.
Part the Second:
1. I love your poetry. I think "Magnolia Lips" and "Through the Hard Glass Wall" are my favorites of the ones I've read. 2. Emerald green. 3. Finding your Juno fiction on ff.net, and then using Here is the Church, Here is the Steeple to prove to my friend Harper that people both can and have written good stories for that movie. 4. A fox. Namely, this one: http://thundafunda.com/3993/images/animals/wild-animals-cute/arctic-fox-kit-pictures.jpg 5. If you could travel to anywhere in the world on a one-way ticket, where would you go? 6. You are seriously a fabulous writer, and it always makes me happy to see when you have something new posted. And you wrote me Stacey-fic that one time! No one's ever written me a story before! 7. I...I don't know. Maybe, like nombre, you could try being less awesome?
